ABOUT
The Field of Reeds
Field of Reeds commissions permanent monumental works that record the existence and authorship of individuals and families within a stewarded cultural landscape.
The structures are engineered for endurance across centuries and millennia, designed to persist without intervention, maintenance, burial, or remains. Each commission serves as a continuity marker. A permanent inscription of presence rather than a memorial to death.
Field of Reeds draws from ancient traditions of monumental architecture while operating entirely within contemporary cultural, legal, and civic frameworks. The result is a living archive: a place shaped by long-horizon thinking, authorship, and stewardship.

Commissions are limited and privately structured.

Field of Reeds is not a cemetery, necropolis, or funerary development.
